Citerna: La mia Inquadratura, Civette restaurant and Citernafotografia

There are times when beautiful projects find a common path
Sara Lusini's "La mia Inquadratura" is currently having an exhibition in one of my favourite restaurants in the Valtiberina (actually, it's more a concept than a restaurant) "Le Civette".
Here are some pics I've taken with my mobile.

"La mia Inquadratura" is part of the "Citernafotografia", the Festival of Photography in the Valtiberina.
Here is a Vine I have made.

Turning 30 in Amsterdam

My "sister" Erika gave me this present for my birthday:
a luna park.
Actually, the biggest luna park: Amsterdam.
I really enjoyed it, and I have no words to thank Erika, and Mery's gang, to take me around, and make me feel a teenager when I was just turning 30.
Maybe more classy than a teenager.

#BIT2013: things I felt in love with

It's been a while since I wrote here on my blog...
I've sent a 2013 E-Card to most of you, but for those that didn't get it,
you can find it here
As you can see, I finished the year in a not so conventional way.
In fact, the general attitude right now is to be content with what you have, and to try to survive this big financial crisis.
I don't believe so, and even if I understand and see the clouds over Europe,
I like when I hear the louder, optimistic voices over the general complaints.
This happened for me in #BIT2013 (International Tourism Exchange).

Best things of this year’s BIT:
3rd Place - Puglia: from communication to "experiencing the homemade pasta", from Carlo of Puglia Events to the hotspot for charging your phones... Puglia had the best vibes!

2nd Place - People I had crushes on: online relationships and communities HAVE TO BE SUPPORTED offline. That's the crush that you can have, and the strong connections you can create. Personally, I had a crush on a few travel bloggers:
Infoturismiamoci
Nonsoloturisti
Viaggiaredasoli
Viaggiovero
Flaneriefeminine
1st Place - my favourite moment wasn't within the Facebook/Google speeches, but the Benigni video at the beginning of "Travel Storytelling Opportunities".
So, as this is very Bella-style, here’s that video with subtitles
Thank you Alessio Carciofi for sharing it with us. For Italian readers, the video showed was this:

The story of Il Fontanaro Organic Farmhouse & Alina Pinelli

Once upon a time,
there was a clever girl, Alina Pinelli, working in communication just like me.
She quit it,
to develop her family's project,
ending up in the "glocal" philosphy.
Read the story of Alina below,
and watch the video of
that we made for Bella Toscana

Alina says, "We bought a ruin from the 18 century more than 30 years ago, with about 50 acres of land, and gradually restored it into a country home for our family. We started planting olive trees until we reached the present number of 2000. Now, we produce our own extra virgin organic olive oil, honey and saffron. We have also expanded and developed the property, transforming it into a small tourist rural resort accommodating up to 18 guests with very high comfort and great personal care for our guests, since they are like friends for us, not just customers. We like to share with our guests our love for local, genuine food matched with great wines from our cellar (approximately 2500 bottles from all over Italy and the world), organizing cooking classes, and wine and oil tasting. We also love to transfer our passion and interest for the country life to our guests and we suggest and organize visits to many artistic and cultural destinations in the surrounding Umbrian and Tuscan towns."

Museo di Ferragamo for Bella Toscana

What impressed me the most of our interview and visit with
fabulous Paola Gusella
was:
A)the reason of his success, which is the title of our video
B)yes, I have to admit that, a pair of
red
sparkling
shoes.
I was in love,
first sight.
Watch the video that we made
in Museo di Ferragamo.

September in Tuscany

September in Tuscany is just fantastic...
fairs, "sagre", festivals, history and culture
which end up in heaps of wine and food.
Just in and around Arezzo,
in the first 2 weeks,
you will find
Palio dei Lumi in Pieve Santo Stefano.

Watch the video that we made
for Bella Toscana about the start of
Palio dei Lumi.
